This course describes the limbs of the body and how they attach to the skeleton. Your skeleton provides the internal supporting structure of the body. The limb bones are divided into two groups: the bones that are located within the limbs themselves, and the girdle bones that attach the limbs to the axial skeleton. Information on the embryonic development and growth is also included in the course.
